Maison Crivelli was founded in Paris in 2018 by Thibaud Crivelli, a perfume explorer driven by a singular obsession: the encounter between a fragrance raw material and an unexpected, vivid, off-the-beaten-path discovery. Every fragrance in the collection is born from a specific sensory adventure — a moment so alive, so particular, so impossible to forget that it demands to be translated into smell. Hibiscus Mahajád was born from one such adventure: the experience of sipping hibiscus tea in the heart of a gemstone market, surrounded by jade, malachite, and ruby — the warmth and sweetness of the infusion in violent contrast with the cold, mineral hardness of the stones around it. The name itself carries this duality: “Mahajád” is a contraction of Maha (big) and jád (jade).

Created by star perfumer Quentin Bisch — the nose behind Amouage Purpose, Guerlain Mon Guerlain, and some of the most celebrated niche releases of the last decade — and produced at a remarkable 32% extrait concentration using ORPUR-certified natural raw materials from Givaudan, Hibiscus Mahajád is both Maison Crivelli’s first-ever extrait and their most beloved creation. It is a fragrance of explosive presence, magnetic complexity, and extraordinary staying power — and it is vegan.

The opening is immediate and unforgettable: a vivid, juicy burst of Hibiscus and Blackcurrant explodes onto the skin, bright and luminous, lifted by the cool, unexpected freshness of Spearmint — a master stroke that keeps the fruit from ever becoming heavy. At the heart, Rose Damascena ORPUR Absolute blooms in all its richness: honeyed, slightly jammy, and exquisitely floral, threaded through with warming ORPUR Cinnamon Essential Oil that adds spice and depth without ever dominating.
