Our Commitment

At Scent Syndicate, every bottle we sell is 100% authentic. We source our fragrances directly from authorized distributors and wholesalers — the same bottles you'd find at retail, at a fraction of the price. We stand behind the quality of every order.

Return Eligibility

We accept returns on eligible items within 14 days of delivery. To qualify, your item must meet all of the following conditions:

  • The item must be in its original, unopened condition with the seal intact
  • The original box, packaging, and packing slip must be included
  • The return must be initiated within 14 days of the delivery date
  • The item must not be marked as Final Sale at the time of purchase

Tester Bottles

Tester bottles are sold as-is and are final sale. Testers are authentic fragrance products but may arrive without a cap, without a retail box, or in plain packaging — this is standard for testers sourced from distributors. Tester sales are not eligible for return or refund.

Opened or Used Items

If a fragrance has been opened or partially used and you wish to return it, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. The restocking fee is calculated on the original item price, not including shipping. The item must still be returned in reasonable condition to be eligible.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:

  • Items marked Final Sale
  • Tester bottles
  • Samples and decants
  • Items returned without original packaging
  • Items returned after the 14-day window

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@scentsyndicate.com. Include your order number and clear photos of the issue. In verified cases, we will cover return shipping and issue a full refund or replacement at our discretion.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email info@scentsyndicate.com within 14 days of delivery
  2. Include your order number and reason for return
  3. Wait for return authorization — do not send items back without authorization
  4. Ship the item back using a trackable carrier
  5. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If a restocking fee applies, it will be deducted before the refund is issued.

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before they are fulfilled. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled — you would need to follow the standard return process upon delivery. To request a cancellation, email info@scentsyndicate.com immediately with your order number.
